Cookie Policy

Purpose
This Policy describes how we (Regloplas AG) use cookies on our website.

Cookies
We use so-called "cookies" when you visit our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and store settings and data for exchange with our system. This means that certain information no longer has to be provided during repeated visits to the websites. Cookies thus serve to identify you during a subsequent visit and thereby to adapt our Internet offer to your needs (e.g. language) and thus make it more user-friendly. Cookies do not contain any information that could directly identify the individual user. In addition, the analysis tool "Google Analytics" used by us also uses cookies.

Use of Cookies
Our website uses the following cookies:

- Transient cookies (temporary use)
- Persistent cookies (temporary use)
- Third-Party Cookies (from third parties).

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This includes session cookies in particular. These store a so-called session ID, which can be used to assign various requests from the user's browser to the shared session. This allows the user's computer to be recognised when the user returns to the website. We use this type of cookie to ensure the operation and functionality of our website. The session cookies are deleted when the user logs out or closes the browser.

Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. We use this type of cookie to improve the usability of our site by storing user-specific settings.

Third party cookies are cookies that are set and collected by a third party commissioned by us. We use these types of cookies to improve the performance and optimise our website.

The information stored on the basis of cookies is stored separately from any other data provided by REGLOPLAS. In particular, the data of the cookies are not linked with other data of the user.

Browser settings and other management options for cookies
Most browsers offer the option,

-    to disable all cookies
-    to delete cookies after closing the browser
-    to delete cookies manually
-    to refuse cookies from third parties (third party cookies)
-    to manage cookies in a differentiated way through installation of browser extensions

If you restrict the use of cookies, individual elements of the website may no longer function. By remaining on the website, the user agrees to the use of cookies when using the website.

Analysis tools
Our website uses Google Analytics. This is a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, which enable an analysis of the use of the website and with the help of which Regloplas in particular can compile reports about the website activities. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the Regloplas website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google complies with the privacy provisions of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Agreement and is registered with the U.S. Department of Commerce's EU-U.S. Privacy Shield program (details of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and individual registrations are available at www.privacyshield.gov). If IP anonymisation is activated on the Regloplas website, the IP address of the user will be shortened by Google in advance within Switzerland or within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area (depending on the individual circumstances). Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses this information on behalf of Regloplas to evaluate the use of the website by the user, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services associated with website activity and internet usage to Regloplas as the operator of the website.

The IP address transmitted by the user's browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookies and related to the use of the website by the user (including IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by installing the browser plugin available under the URLhttps://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. By waiving this measure, you consent to the processing of your data by Google Analytics in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
